The purpose of this project

The Dark Triad Institute provides general psychological education, practical worksheets, and interpretive reflection. It is an independent educational project, not an accredited training institution or a substitute for individual clinical care.

Assessment and treatment

Articles and exercises do not provide psychological assessment, diagnosis, or treatment. They cannot establish another person's diagnosis, intent, dangerousness, or future behavior. Reading, downloading, or purchasing a resource does not establish a psychologist–patient relationship.

Professional advice and safety

These materials do not provide individual legal or financial advice. Consequential decisions, threats, coercion, and safety concerns may require specialized assistance. Do not use a reflection exercise to delay urgent help or ignore a real deadline. For immediate danger or a life-threatening emergency in the United States, call 911.

Reflection tools and examples

Worksheets, scripts, and custom reflection themes are educational aids, not validated diagnostic instruments. Fictional examples illustrate questions; they do not predict outcomes or establish the correct response in every situation.

Educational resources and purchases

The core articles and practical tools are available without an account. Don’t Be Played is offered as a 19-page PDF workbook for a one-time price of $19. Payment is handled through the linked Stripe checkout, and the PDF is delivered to the purchaser’s email address after payment. The product page describes its contents. Any previous purchase remains subject to its original applicable terms and support arrangements.

Existing applicable purchaser terms continue to govern previous purchases.
